About Mananya
I’m a dedicated math tutor with years of experience helping students build confidence and mastery across all levels, from basic arithmetic in elementary school to advanced high school topics and SAT preparation. As someone who didn’t always love math myself, I understand how challenging it can be to grasp concepts and make them stick. Because of this, I’ve developed clear, step-by-step strategies that break down problems into manageable parts and use visual aids and hands-on activities to make learning more accessible. I’m especially experienced in supporting students with ADHD and dyslexia, tailoring lessons to each learner’s style to keep them engaged and motivated. My goal is to create a patient, encouraging space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace, so math becomes less intimidating and more enjoyable.

Each math lesson, regardless of complexity or age group, is carefully designed to build understanding step-by-step, starting with a quick review of previous material to reinforce learning. We then focus on a specific concept or skill, breaking it down into manageable parts with clear explanations and plenty of examples. Lessons include hands-on activities and visual tools to help make abstract ideas more concrete, especially for students with ADHD or dyslexia. You will have opportunities to practice with guided support, ensuring you feel confident before moving on. We finish each session with a brief recap and set achievable goals for the next lesson, creating a structured, supportive environment that helps you progress steadily and confidently.

Mananya has been such a wonderful teacher and mentor! She’s really good at explaining complex concepts in a simple and easy to understand way. Even beyond that, she’s the kind of person that’s always willing to help out whether it be teaching math, or just giving general advice and guidance! Overall one of the best teachers I’ve ever met!
Mananya is one of the most dedicated students I have met. Her work ethic is unmatched and she works very well with kids.
She helped me learn algebra 2 in 6th grade and she's a very responsible person. She'll make sure you pass and excel any class you have trouble in!
