About Todd
I am an experienced Maths tutor with a BSc Mathematics with Actuarial Science and more than 4 years of teaching practice. Discrete mathematics is my core teaching area. I help students master logic, sets, combinatorics, and graph theory. These topics are essential for computer science learners. I regularly support students preparing for courses in algorithms and data structures. We study how graphs represent networks and how combinatorics analyses performance. I emphasise reasoning skills. Proof writing becomes manageable. Coding concepts start making sense. Students gain confidence solving complex problems. My goal is to simplify difficult ideas and demystify discrete maths so you can excel in your computational journey.

My teaching method connects mathematics with real-world decisions. I begin with basic arithmetic and algebra. Then I introduce financial maths concepts such as interest, loans, and investment growth. Students calculate savings and spending plans. We also analyse profit and loss situations. They understand how money works. I provide special support to coding learners and Olympiad students. Logical thinking is strengthened through practice sessions. I guide them through complex questions patiently. They improve analytical ability and confidence. Mathematics becomes a thinking tool. They also learn responsible financial habits. They gain confidence in everyday financial decisions.
