My teaching method focuses on building a solid understanding of mathematical concepts through a step-by-step approach. I start with simpler problems to build confidence, gradually moving to more challenging ones to deepen comprehension and problem-solving skills.
When faced with more difficult questions, I guide students in breaking down complex problems into manageable parts, teaching strategies to simplify and solve them effectively. This approach not only helps in mastering the topic but also boosts students' analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Lesson Structure
Each lesson is typically one hour long, allowing ample time to explore a topic thoroughly and practice a range of problems. The lessons are tailored to the student's level, with adjustments made to ensure they are both challenging and achievable.
Qualifications and Experience
I have a proven track record in tutoring mathematics, having started during my O Levels where I helped fellow students improve their math grades significantly. My experience extends to college, where I continued to tutor math. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to connect with students of varying levels and to adapt my teaching style to meet their unique needs.
