About Surabhi
Hi! I’m an incoming Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech, and I recently went through the same math classes and SAT prep that many of my students are working on now.
I’ve always liked math, but I also know it doesn’t always feel intuitive the first time you see it. I scored a 790 on the SAT Math section and a 760 on SAT Reading, and I’ve taken math through multivariable calculus while earning straight A+ grades along the way.
Usually I just try to explain things the way I wish they had been explained to me: clearly, step by step, without skipping anything important.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to their goals and learning style. My focus is on helping students truly understand concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing any questions or difficult topics, followed by guided practice and problem-solving together. As students become more confident, I gradually encourage them to solve problems independently while providing support and feedback along the way.
As an incoming Industrial Engineering student at Georgia Tech with a 790 SAT Math score and 5s on both AP Calculus AB and BC, I understand the skills needed to succeed in challenging math courses and on standardized tests. I enjoy making complex topics easier to understand and helping students build confidence in their abilities.
I offer tutoring for middle school and high school students in Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and SAT Math.
