About Ben
Welcome! My name is Ben, and I am currently a college student studying Business and Economics at Wheaton College. I have a passion for helping others and have been tutoring for several years. My goal is to inspire confidence in my students and help them achieve their academic goals.
I have a proven track record of success, and I have helped many students improve their grades and overall understanding of the subject matter. My approach is tailored to each individual student's needs, and I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to make the material engaging and relatable.
As a current college student, I have a strong understanding of the academic expectations and pressures that students face. I am able to provide guidance and support that is both knowledgeable and understanding.

As a tutor, my approach is to first understand the student's current level of understanding and tailor the lessons to their specific needs and learning style. I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques, including visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples to make the material more engaging and relatable.
A typical lesson plan for me would involve starting with a review of previous material to assess the student's understanding and identify any areas that need extra attention. Then, I will introduce new material and guide the student through the process of understanding it. I like to provide opportunities for the student to practice and apply their new knowledge through interactive exercises and problems. Finally, I will conclude the lesson with a review of key concepts and provide feedback on the student's progress.
One of the things that sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students and help them build confidence in their abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, and I work to create a positive and encouraging learning environment that helps them to reach their full potential.
I am able to tutor students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. I have experience tutoring students in math, science, and computer science. I am able to adapt to student's specificities, such as learning disabilities, language barriers or cultural background, in order to make the learning experience most effective.
