About Kotaro
I am an experienced tutor with over 1,500 hours of one-on-one tutoring experience, having helped more than 300 students achieve their academic goals. My 4+ years of professional teaching experience in math, science, and English in classroom settings, combined with my experience in tutoring ALL LEVELS OF MATH and TEST PREP one-on-one since 2018, make me confident in my ability to help students succeed.
I am well-versed in various subjects and can help students ranging in age from 6 to 60 years old, including students at the K5-12th grade levels, as well as those studying for standardized tests such as the ACT, SAT, PSAT, GRE, GCSE, and ICAS. My goal as a tutor is to assess each student's needs and create a strong learning plan tailored to their individual needs, ensuring their success and mastery of the subject matter.

I am writing to introduce myself as a tutor with a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals. With over 5+ years of experience as a tutor and teacher in a variety of subjects, I have worked with students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.
My approach to tutoring is focused on building a strong connection with each student and finding the best way to relate to them individually. This allows me to carefully explain concepts in multiple ways to ensure students understand the material. I have a great deal of patience and a strong passion to be the best tutor I can be.
I specialize in one-on-one settings, where I connect with students and find the best way to teach them. I have a robust collection of teaching materials for every level, and use them in a creative, strategic way in order to best benefit the student. I am very practical and efficient, and help students grasp concepts quickly using new perspectives and creative thinking.
My teaching method brings practice and strategy together, and I focus on developing real skills that will help students maximize their scores and make them better test-takers in general. I have significant experience in teaching test preparation (SAT, ACT, PSAT, GRE, GCSE, and ICAS) and have helped many students increase their scores.
I am confident in all levels of math, science, and English, including elementary, middle, high school, and college-level courses. I also tutor in writing, reading, and study skills.
