About Rithwik
My name is Rithwik, and I am a dedicated and patient tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching math and science. I am currently in my final semester of a computer science and mathematics degree at the University of Alberta. Over the years, I have worked with students through different tutoring organizations, helping them build strong understanding, improve grades, and gain confidence. My teaching approach is structured and adaptable, focusing on clear explanations and strong fundamentals. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and progressing at their own pace. I work with elementary, middle school, and high school students in math and science, supporting everything from foundational concepts to exam preparation.

My lessons are structured and tailored to each student’s needs in math and science. I begin by identifying areas of difficulty, then explain concepts step by step in a clear and simple way. Students are guided through examples before moving on to practice questions to reinforce understanding.
I have experience teaching the Alberta curriculum, including Math 20, Math 30-1, Math 31, Science 20, and Physics 20. In addition, I can support students in IB, A Levels, and IGCSE programs, as well as standardized test preparation such as the SAT and ACT.
Each lesson includes focused explanations, worked examples, and practice exercises to ensure the student fully understands the topic. I adjust the pace based on the student’s comfort level and make sure they feel confident before moving forward.
I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely and build strong foundations for long-term success in math and science.
