Connie has taught me multiple grades of science and it is through her teaching that I found a passion for research. From her anecdotes about her time studying volcanoes to her personalized and often gamified learning strategies, she is one of the finest educators in Calgary. Connie is able to balance a clean teaching method with building rapport and understanding with her students in a superb way. Through Connie’s guidance I have pursued an undergraduate in health sciences, and through her example and emphasis the role on the role that innovation has in our society, I have two publications in my field as an undergraduate student. Connie is a fantastic teacher.
