About Sara
“Teaching is the greatest act of optimism”. Ciao! My name is Sara and welcome to my profile. I have studied languages for over 20 years and they have been my passion from a very young age. I developed my interest and enthusiasm over the years studying both academically and recreationally, pursuing my dream of travelling and living abroad, making wonderful experiences that shaped me into the person I am today. Currently I am based in Scotland where I have been living for the past 11 years. I teach Italian online and I am delighted to help my students learn, improve and achieve as a true reward to my role. I am organised, flexible, trustworthy, dedicated and supportive. I have a warm and friendly approach by ensuring to provide a comfortable space where my students can feel at ease, develop at their own pace and grow in confidence. I look forward to meeting and teaching Italian to many more new students and to be of inspiration on their learning journey. My mission is to ensure that every student succeeds and feels proud of their accomplishments. I wish to share my passion and love for my language to many more people.. join me today!

Begin your Italian journey with Sara! My teaching method is based on: • Building Trust • Creating Learning Foundations • Motivation and Encouragement • Progressive Self-Confidence Building • Strengthening • Blossoming Let’s delve a little bit deeper now: Following our first conversations, I will assess and customise my learning materials to you and to your aspirations. I can teach all levels, both as 1:1 as well as small groups and I will focus on creating a relaxing, enjoyable environment to be in. There are no mistakes in my classes, instead a positive and constructive approach to learning with ongoing support. We can start with 1 hour class and go up to 1.5 hour. You are the centre of my classes and I will adapt them to your goals and future achievements, covering topics in a fun, varied and stimulating way to create the most effective and rewarding experience. We will work and go at your pace as the classes are designed around you, so we can cover different subjects and range from a wide selection of stimulating learning resources. I will support your learning with grammar, conversations, diverse reading and listening materials, we will work on pronunciation, phonetics, enjoy songs and much more by maximising your own skillset. I will get the best out of you!

Sara is the most patient, insightful, and respectful tutors I’ve ever met. Her ability to understand and connect with her students is the most motivating aspect I found under her teaching. I really enjoy my classes with Sara! She is always well prepared and thinks about how to personalise the lesson to suit me, as well as making it good fun. My confidence has grown and I feel like I am making progress. Sara has been great at finding times either during the day or in the evening for our 1-1 sessions and Zoom has worked well for us. I also like getting the homework which is really varied and makes me think between classes. I have tried many different textbooks, podcasts or on-line classes but found it difficult to find something that works well for me. Sara is always very responsive and supportive, her enthusiasm is so infectious. I cannot recommend Sara highly enough!
I started Italian lessons with Sara in March this year and I cannot believe how much I have already learnt . Sara is a very patient and encouraging teacher. She is happy to go at whatever pace you want and does not make you feel foolish if you get something wrong .i genuinely look forward to my weekly lesson and progressing with this beautiful language . Details
I assign bespoke homework to my students to cement what was covered during the class to ensure the topic was properly learnt and understood. I am always available to offer support to them throughout the week before the next scheduled class whilst completing homework in case of any difficulties. The markings are returned to them before the class to allow time to revise and reflect. I dedicate time to prepare customised classes to my students from a wide range of materials I carefully select for them. My classes follow a pattern attentively crafted to their needs as well as extra time for questions prior and after the class to clarify doubts and confidently move onto next areas of learning. Quality and time is guaranteed.
