About Tamara
I have worked for 2 years in the UK and international secondary schools teaching Spanish and English, as both a first and second language. My experience includes preparing students for a variety of qualifications, namely GCSE, IGCSE and Cambridge First Certificate.
Additionally, I have marked exam papers for a number of GCSE/IGCSE boards and use this experience, if appropriate, to support students taking these exams.

I like to start from where the student is at. I believe in structuring lessons that are interesting, relevant and provoke you to engage with the subject you are learning about. Breaking down difficult areas in an enjoyable way is what I'm good at and looking at problematic areas from different angles. I love mistakes as they are important in the messy process of learning :)
I am a friendly and open tutor who will encourage you on to your next point of learning engagement.
