About Cole
I am a Computer Science graduate with experience in software development and teaching. I previously worked as a Data Structures & Algorithms Teaching Assistant, helping students understand programming concepts and improve their problem-solving skills. I also have backend development experience building applications with Java, Spring Boot, databases, and modern software tools. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and developing the confidence needed to succeed in their computer science courses.

My lessons are designed primarily for college students taking Data Structures & Algorithms and Java programming courses. As a former Data Structures & Algorithms Teaching Assistant with a Computer Science degree, I understand the concepts that students often find challenging. I focus on building a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, recursion, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, hash tables, sorting algorithms, searching algorithms, and Big O analysis. Rather than simply giving answers, I help students understand why solutions work so they can approach assignments, exams, and future programming challenges with confidence.
