About Stella
I attended the college Lyceo Classico Tommaso Campanella in Regio di Calabria, Italy. I then attended the Sapienza University, Rome where I studied aesthetic philosophy in which I graduated with a doctorate.
I moved to London in 1997 and lectured at the Slade School of Art, University College, London. I was the M.A. course leader in Art History and Theory, and have been a visiting Professor at numerous British and European universities.
I have curated many art exhibitions both in the UK and Europe.
I have taught Italian as a foreign language since 1989.

I give Italian langauge lessons at all levels.
For advanced students, I also tutor - in Italian or Englis - on Italian literature of the classical, modern and contemporary periods, on philosophy from the Pre-Socratics to classical modern and contemporary philosophy, the history of aesthetic philosophy which also includes film, visual art, art history both modern and contemporary, architecture and design.
I teach the history and theory of psychology with an emphasis on psychoanalysis.

She is a very experienced teacher but not just that she is capivating. She has a deep knowledge of Italian language, literarture and art and is very keen to share this. Her lessons are animated and profound.
I have known Stella initially as a colleague, lecturing fine art in university and then she has taught me Italian language and conversation.
