About Peter
After two years as an industrial chemist, I began teaching at McCallie School in Chattanooga. After 12 years, I was hired away by Baylor School to teach their AP and honors chemistry classes. I then went on to spend a combined nine more years at Peddie School near Princeton, NJ and at St. Mark's School in Massachusetts. I have spent a combined 30 years teaching honors and AP sciences. All but 8 of the 400+ AP students that I have taught have scored 5.0 on their AP exams.

After graduating Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Biochemistry, I have spent the past 30 years instructing honors and advanced placement courses at some of the nation's best private boarding schools. During that time, two dozen former students have placed among the top 20 in the nation on the annual International Chemistry Olympiad. Two of those ended up representing the United States in international competition placing 5th and 6th in the world after placing 1st and 2nd in the nation respectively. Additionally, my students have averaged over 4.9 (out of 5) on their AP exams.
