About Bill
After spending over a decade working in Contact Management as an instructor, as well as performing in several musical groups, I returned to university to earn a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mathematics. During this part of my education I performed research in supermassive black hole theory and statistics.
My successes at Mount Saint Vincent University led me to begin a Masters of Science in Mathematics at Acadia University. The focus of my research at Acadia was a statistical method of optimizing turbine arrays to harvest tidal energy in the Bay of Fundy which has now led into my current research of creating statistical models which will serve as proxies for computationally expensive deterministic financial models.
I have extensive experience overseeing the delivery of technical and soft skills curricula and have been consistent in ensuring adult learners are able to embrace their learning and successfully apply newly acquired knowledge. I am extremely dedicated to my work, and the pride I take in what I produce is what pushes me to consistently deliver superior results.

Often when students studying math experience difficulty with a topic, it is a weakness in a previously learned topic that is the main problem. I seek to strengthen the understanding of mathematics with students, so that they can understand why a method was created, and how it can be applied in everyday life.
