About Carlos
As a Venezuelan born, NYC based musician, I bring a unique and diverse perspective to my work. With over 20 years of experience playing guitar and performing in professional choirs, I have honed my skills as a musician and developed a deep understanding of music.
In addition to my experience as a performer, I have also worked in the video game industry, creating original soundtracks and sound effects for a variety of games. This experience has given me a unique perspective on music and how it can be used to enhance other forms of media.
As a producer, I have worked with a variety of different music acts, helping them to develop their sound and bring their vision to life. I am passionate about helping others to express themselves through music, and I am committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and expertise to my students.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and web development. I believe that staying active and engaged in a variety of interests helps to keep me well-rounded and creative as a musician and tutor.
I am confident that my extensive experience and diverse skill set make me an excellent choice for anyone looking to improve their guitar or singing skills. I am committed to providing a personalized and engaging learning experience for each of my students, and I am dedicated to helping them achieve their musical goals.

As a tutor, my approach is to provide a personalized and engaging learning experience for each of my students. I believe that music should be enjoyable and fulfilling, and I strive to make my lessons fun and interactive.
My teaching method is based on a combination of traditional music education and modern technology. I use a variety of techniques, including ear training, sight-reading, and music theory, to help my students develop a well-rounded understanding of music. I also incorporate technology, such as recording software and online resources, to enhance the learning experience.
A typical lesson plan with me would include a warm-up, technique exercises, repertoire, and music theory. The warm-up is designed to get the student's voice or hands ready for the lesson, while the technique exercises focus on building specific skills. The repertoire is tailored to the student's interests and goals, and the music theory component is designed to help the student understand the underlying concepts of music.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my extensive experience as a performer and audio engineer. I have been playing guitar for 20 years and have performed in professional choirs and opera choirs. I have also studied audio engineering and music, which gives me a unique perspective on music and how it is created. This experience allows me to provide a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to music education.
My lessons are suitable for students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. I am comfortable teaching both children and adults, and I am able to tailor my lessons to meet the specific needs and goals of each student. Whether you are looking to improve your singing or guitar skills, or simply want to learn more about music, I am confident that I can help you achieve your goals.
