About Veliko
As a highly experienced and dedicated guitar tutor, I am committed to inspiring confidence, establishing my legitimacy, and reassuring students of my professionalism. With over 20 years of playing experience and 900+ live performances, sessions, and more, I bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to my lessons. My teaching method involves a combination of structured lessons and personalized instruction tailored to the student's needs. I use various techniques to help students understand music theory, practice effectively, and develop their skills.
A typical lesson plan includes a warm-up, review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, practice time, and a wrap-up with homework. I believe in setting achievable goals for my students and providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my passion for music and my ability to connect with students on a personal level. I have a First Class Guitar Performance degree from ACM Guildford and over 6 years of teaching experience, which has provided me with the knowledge and expertise to create engaging and effective lessons for my students. Additionally, I am DBS certificated, ensuring a safe and professional learning environment for all students.
My lessons are suitable for students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners looking to learn the basics to experienced guitarists wanting to expand their skills. I offer instruction in various genres, including Metal, Rock, Blues, Folk, Slide Guitar, and Classical fingerpicking, as well as music theory and music production using Logic Pro X.
