Hello, and welcome!
My name is Dedré Crafford, and I am an experienced Mathematics educator with 7 years of classroom teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with Grade 4–7 learners, helping them develop strong mathematical foundations, improve their academic performance, and gain confidence in their abilities.
I am passionate about making Mathematics accessible and enjoyable for every learner. I understand that each student learns differently, which is why I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs. My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and interactive, creating an environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and developing their problem-solving skills.
As a professional educator, I focus not only on helping learners achieve better marks but also on ensuring they truly understand the concepts they are learning. Whether a student needs assistance catching up, preparing for assessments, strengthening foundational skills, or extending their mathematical understanding, I provide structured guidance and personalized support.
I teach in both English and Afrikaans and strive to build positive relationships with my learners and their families. My goal is to help every student develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards Mathematics.

I am a qualified and experienced Mathematics educator with 7 years of experience teaching learners in Grades 4–7. My teaching approach is learner-centered, patient, and focused on building confidence while developing a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
I believe that every learner can succeed in Mathematics when concepts are explained clearly and at a pace that suits their individual needs. Rather than focusing only on memorizing procedures, I help learners understand the reasoning behind mathematical concepts so that they can apply their knowledge independently and with confidence.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans and can teach in either language according to the learner's preference.
My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to each learner's goals. A typical lesson includes a review of previous work, clear explanations of new concepts, guided practice, problem-solving activities, and opportunities for learners to ask questions in a supportive environment. I also provide exam and test preparation, homework assistance, and targeted support for areas where learners may be struggling.
My lessons are aimed primarily at Grade 4–7 learners, whether they need help catching up, improving their marks, preparing for assessments, or extending their mathematical understanding. I work with learners of all ability levels and adapt my teaching strategies to suit different learning styles.
