About Travis
Greetings, my name is Travis, and I bring over 15 years of experience in teaching human geography and geomorphology, coupled with more than 7 years of specialized training for professionals in GIS. Employing a meticulously structured and research-based methodology, I customize training sessions to meet your specific learning needs. Whether you are just starting with GIS or seeking advanced techniques, I invest the necessary time to ensure your comprehensive understanding.
My expertise includes over 15 years in geospatial and 20 years in remote sensing, shaped through training with esteemed institutions such as the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the United States Navy, and the United States Army. Currently working as a geospatial analyst, I remain at the forefront of advancements, regularly training with ESRI to incorporate the latest techniques in geospatial analysis. Having trained over 100 professionals in ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, and QGIS, I am dedicated to imparting practical skills for real-world applications.
With a Bachelor's of Science in Geography from Arizona State University and ongoing research in human geography and geographical statistics, my academic foundation complements practical experience. My research spans regions like The Middle East and North Africa, Southeast Asia, and Southern Europe.
