About Zainab
Hi! I'm a passionate and approachable tutor currently studying A-level Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. Having recently completed my own GCSEs, I understand the challenges students face and know how important it is to have someone who explains things clearly and patiently. I enjoy helping students grow in confidence, celebrate their progress, and discover that learning can be enjoyable. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, music, volunteering at the British Heart Foundation, and continuously developing my own knowledge and study techniques. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's individual needs.

I offer personalised one-to-one lessons for students preparing for the 11+ entrance exams, GCSE Biology and GCSE Chemistry. Each lesson is tailored to the student's individual strengths, areas for improvement, and learning style, ensuring they gain both confidence and a deeper understanding of the subject. I use a range of teaching techniques, including guided practice, worked examples, exam-style questions, active recall, and spaced repetition to reinforce learning and improve long-term retention.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged if required. I achieved Grade 9 in GCSE biology and chemistry and I recently completed my A-level Biology, Chemistry and psychology with predicted grades of A*, A, A. Alongside my academic background, I have experience tutoring both GCSE Biology, GCSE Chemistry and 11+ students, helping them strengthen their subject knowledge, improve exam technique, and develop effective revision strategies.
My aim is to create a supportive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, build confidence in their abilities, and achieve their academic goals.
