About Rebecca
Alongside my role as a Management Consultant, I've spent the last 2+ years helping GCSE Maths students grow in confidence and achieve their goals. I achieved an A in A-level Mathematics and graduated with First-Class Honours, and I enjoy using my analytical skills to explain maths in a way that's clear, engaging and easy to understand. My students typically improve by 2–3 grades, and every student I've taught has gone on to pass their GCSE Maths and progress to A-levels, college or further education.

I believe every student can succeed in maths with the right support, confidence and approach.
During the first one or two lessons, I'll carry out a short assessment to identify your child's current level, highlight any knowledge gaps and estimate the grade they're currently working at. I'll then share this feedback with parents and create a personalised learning plan.
Lessons are typically one hour, which I find is the ideal balance for maintaining focus and making strong progress. Each session starts with a 5–10 minute recap before moving into teaching, worked examples and exam-style practice questions. Lessons can follow your child's school curriculum, focus on topics identified through assessment or target any areas they would like extra support with. Homework can also be set if requested.
I tutor Years 7–11, covering both Foundation and Higher GCSE Maths, with experience teaching the AQA and Edexcel specifications. As students approach their exams, lessons become increasingly focused on exam technique, past papers and building confidence under timed conditions.
I provide regular progress updates for parents and adapt lessons as students develop. Lessons are taught online via Microsoft Teams or another platform if preferred.
