About Finlay
I’m Finlay, a passionate Maths and Science student currently studying A-levels and predicted 3 A*s. I achieved straight 9s at GCSE, and I’m aiming to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge next year. I really enjoy these subjects and love helping others develop the same confidence and interest in them. Tutoring gives me the chance to share what I’ve learned, support students through challenges, and watch them succeed.

I offer engaging GCSE tutoring sessions in Maths and Science, available online or in person if you’re local. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student - I focus on tackling tricky questions, strengthening weaker areas, and then pushing students to reach beyond their comfort zone. Having recently sat my own GCSEs and achieved grade 9s across maths and sciences, I understand the pressures and challenges. My daughter had her first lesson with Finlay last week, he helped her understand the concepts in Physics and Chemistry she was struggling with most. She said he was really helpful and went through any bits she was still confused about. I’d recommend anyone looking for a tutor to go for Finlay.
My son has had help from Finlay with both maths and science over the past few months. It’s really boosted his confidence and he actually enjoys the subjects more now. The extra support has made a big difference and we’re really thankful for Finlay’s help.
My son has been having weekly online tutoring with Finlay in both GCSE Maths and Combined Science since Year 10.
