About Alan
I've completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, majoring in finance (in addition to Bachelor of Laws with Honours). Since then, I've been an experienced financial analyst for over 10 years, meaning that I've been able to put into the practice the knowledge I would be glad to teach to you.

I completed a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne, majoring in finance, and was placed on the Dean's Honours List (top 3%) in all three years. In this time, I was a tutor for the Accounting department, teaching small classes of first-year students.
My philosophy is that accounting and finance are not overly difficult; with my assistance, all you need is a bit of practice to achieve mastery. My approach for lessons is for the student to write as much him/herself, while I provide guidance and assistance.
