About Marc
I am an experienced educator with over ten years of teaching experience in intermediate and secondary classrooms, specializing in inclusive and individualized learning. I hold degrees in Education and Special Education, and I have worked closely with students of varying abilities, learning styles, and needs—helping them build both academic skills and self-confidence.
My approach to tutoring is calm, supportive, and structured. I focus on helping students truly understand what they are learning rather than simply memorizing content. Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My teaching approach is student-centred and communicative. I focus on helping learners use English confidently in real-life situations, not just understand grammar rules. Lessons are adapted to each student’s goals, learning style, and level. I use a mix of guided conversation, targeted grammar practice, vocabulary building, listening and reading activities, and error correction that is supportive and constructive. When needed, I also integrate exam strategies or professional English skills.
Typical Lesson Structure
Each lesson is structured but flexible:
A short warm-up to review previous material or practice speaking
Introduction of new language or skills (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or communication strategies)
Guided practice through exercises, discussion, or role-plays
Freer practice to apply what was learned in realistic contexts
Feedback, error correction, and clear take-home practice or goals for the next lesson
