About Oleksandra
Hello! My name is Oleksandra, and I am excited to share my passion for teaching with you. With a Bachelor’s degree in Philology, specialising in English and Chinese Languages and Literature, and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at the University of East London, I have a solid academic foundation that supports my teaching practice. I have over six years of experience in language education, having taught English, Chinese, and Russian to students of all ages. My roles have included being a Teacher of English to adults and a Learning Support Assistant, where I provided essential support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This diverse experience has equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student. I am also proud to hold a CEFL level C1, reflecting my advanced proficiency in English. I believe in fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment where creativity and critical thinking are at the forefront. My approach is tailored to empower students, helping them confidently achieve their language learning goals. I look forward to working with you and guiding you on your language-learning journey!

Creative approach to teaching and adherence to the 4C rule: Critical Thinking, Communication, Creativity and Collaboration. Lessons are 60 minutes long for maximum focus on a subject. Throughout my teaching experience, I have worked for international tutoring companies. Most recently, I taught English to Ukrainian refugees in the UK, sponsored by a charity organisation. I am committed to developing a unique outlook for my students and fostering a love for learning in all learners, from children to adults.

Alex has a very light and friendly atmosphere in her classes, which makes the material very easy and interesting to learn. Most of all, I liked that because of her experience of living in different countries, she can perfectly explain the difference in accents and words. and also she teaches me slang phrases that I had never heard of in my life!!!!
