About Jasmine
I’m someone who values authenticity and because of that genuinely enjoys helping others learn and grow. Teaching isn’t just something I do, it’s something I care deeply about. I find joy in breaking down difficult topics and seeing the moment a student finally understands something they’ve been struggling with. It’s not about ticking boxes or rushing through lessons; it’s about creating a safe, patient space where students feel seen, supported, and encouraged to ask questions. I want the students I work with to feel confident in themselves—not just in the classroom, but beyond it. That’s why I teach.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and flexible. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s pace, strengths, and goals. Whether I’m teaching grammar, comprehension, essay writing, or creative expression, I focus on making lessons engaging and relatable.
I often use real-life examples, interactive exercises, and tailored feedback to help students truly understand the material. Lessons typically last 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the learner’s needs and attention span.
I have experience teaching a wide range of students, from upper primary to senior secondary level, including exam prep for WAEC.
My background in writing and my time working with students in both virtual and physical classrooms allow me to connect well with learners and support them effectively. My lessons are ideal for students aged 9–18 who want to improve their English skills in a practical, enjoyable way.
