About Jessica

I am a Modern Language graduate (Spanish & Portuguese) with seven years experience of teaching English as a foreign language. I have taught both adults and children at various language schools in England, Colombia and Brazil. Having learnt other languages (Spanish & Portuguese) I understand how challenging learning a new language can be at times! I truly love teaching and helping others and would be delighted to help you improve your English.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailor made to suit your needs and help you reach your language goals! Together we will identify the areas you want to improve on (pronunciation, spelling, grammar, speaking or listening). Then I will create and deliver fun and engaging lessons which will support your language progress.

My teaching methodology is simple but effective. When teaching adults I usually base my lessons on everyday life and current affairs in order to help them communicate easily in real life situations. However, I am flexible and I always prioritize my students preferences therefore I can create a stimulating lesson in the topic of your choice. When teaching children I use songs, stories and visual aids in my lessons in order to make learning enjoyable and exiting.
