About Peter
I have over 5 years experience teaching secondary/ GCSE English and Media Studies. I am educated to a Masters level with a dissertation that focused on engaging reluctant readers.
I have worked with a number of exam boards and am familiar with all of the classic texts.
I am a firm believer that English can be enjoyable and engaging and my lessons reflect this.

Dialogue and discussion is vital to an enjoyable session as opposed to endless writing down of ideas.
I am happy to explain basic reading techniques and then develop these as we progress.
