About Marium
I am a dedicated and patient tutor committed to helping students build a strong understanding of their subjects rather than relying on memorization. My approach is structured, clear, and adapted to each student’s individual learning pace, ensuring they feel supported and confident throughout the learning process.
I specialize in teaching English and can also deliver other subjects in English medium, making complex topics easier to understand through simple explanations, real-life examples, and step-by-step guidance. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions and actively participate.
Each lesson is carefully planned and typically lasts 1 to 1.5 hours, balancing explanation, practice, and review to maximize understanding without overwhelming the student. I place strong emphasis on continuous improvement, regular feedback, and helping students develop effective study habits.
With an academic background in Computer Science and experience in mentoring and academic support, I bring a logical and disciplined approach to tutoring. I am confident working with primary and secondary school students of different levels, including those who need foundational support as well as those preparing for exams.
My priority is to help students improve steadily, gain confidence in their abilities, and achieve better academic results through consistent and effective learning.

I focus on making students actually understand the concept instead of just memorizing answers. My teaching style is structured but flexible, depending on the student’s level and learning speed. I usually start by identifying weak areas, then break down topics into simple, step-by-step explanations. I use examples, guided practice, and short exercises during the lesson so students can immediately apply what they learn. I also encourage questions throughout the session to make sure nothing is unclear.
A typical lesson lasts around 1 to 1.5 hours. This is enough time to cover a topic properly without overwhelming the student, while still allowing practice and review.
I have experience in teaching and mentoring students in academic settings, and I am currently studying Computer Science, which has strengthened my analytical and problem-solving approach to teaching. I am confident in teaching English as a subject as well as delivering other subjects in English medium, especially for students who need support understanding content in clear, simple English.
My lessons are mainly for primary and secondary school students (ages approximately 7–17), including beginners who need foundational support as well as students preparing for exams who want to improve their understanding and performance.
