About Dimitri
Hello! My name is Dimitri, originally from Jakarta but currently live in Bali. I'm an experienced language tutor with a passion for helping students achieve their language goals. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and have taught English and Bahasa across various locations, including Abu Dhabi, Jakarta, and Bali. My teaching journey has taken me from corporate environments to surf camps and cafes, where I've honed my skills in creating engaging and effective lessons. I believe in a personalized approach to learning, catering to each student’s unique needs and goals. Each lesson typically lasts one hour, with the option to extend to an hour and a half if you’d like to include additional conversation practice. I am currently teaching in Bali, with experience in both Bahasa and English instruction. My background includes teaching corporate clients at Atlas, Dough Darling, and Copenhagen Café, as well as at Solid Surf Camp. Previously, I taught English at Kima Surf Camp and Lola’s Cantina. My lessons are tailored for teenagers and adults of all levels, aiming to help you improve your language skills effectively.
