About OCHEN
Hello! I am a passionate and qualified educator with both a BSc and MSc in Education. I specialize in teaching English Language to students of all levels. I have hands-on teaching experience through my teaching practice and NYSC, where I helped students strengthen their communication. I use a student-centered and practical approach to tutoring. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs and goals. For English, I focus on improving grammar, writing, speaking, and comprehension using real-life examples, conversation practice, and writing exercises. Each lesson lasts 1 hour; however, I can adjust the time based on the student's level or needs. During this hour: We begin with a short review of previous work, focus on a new topic, practice through exercises or tasks, end with a brief summary and optional assignment. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Education. I have gained teaching experience through: Teaching practice during my undergraduate and postgraduate programs, also NYSC, where I taught English to secondary school students. These experiences helped me understand different learning styles and how to adapt my teaching to suit each student.
