Lessons are conducted on Zoom or via Google Meet. Lessons are engaging and lively. I tailor my English lessons to the needs of my students. Across the board, I focus on grammar and vocabulary and all the basics. I believe in sorting out the basic building blocks of the English language. For my weaker students, I double-down on the basics, correcting grammar and building vocabulary. Developing understanding through reading and writing. For more advanced students, the focus will be on more advanced writing techniques, learning how to read and understand more complex texts and developing a wider vocabulary. Students today find it hard to relate to texts and prose written by writers and poets in Western culture and in different time periods. The focus will be on making these texts relatable and relevant to today.
