About Ashwin
I am an Engineering graduate currently pursuing my Master's in Business Information Systems in Australia. I have always enjoyed simplifying complex ideas, and math has been one of my strongest subjects since school. I am patient, calm, and good at breaking down concepts in a way that makes students feel confident. My goal as a tutor is to help students understand why something works, not just memorize formulas. I enjoy working with students from years 7-10, because these are the foundational years where the right guidance can completely change their relationship with math.

I teach Math for years 7-10 students by breaking concepts into simple, clear steps that anyone can understand. My approach is patient, structured and focused on improving confidence, not just marks. A typical lesson runs for 1 hour and includes: 1. A quick check of what the student is learning in school. 2. Simple explanations with real-world examples. 3. Short recap at the end to make sure everything is understood. I specialize in helping students who struggle with: 1. Algebra 2. Linear Equations 3. Fractions and decimals 4. Geometry 5. Trigonometry basics 6. Exam and test preparation I prepare lessons based on the student's current school topics, and I plan each class in advance to ensure clarity and progress.
