About Kevin
Hello, I'm a passionate math and science enthusiast with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and extensive experience tutoring students in math since high school. I have a strong background in math, receiving honors in the subject during high school and tutoring in a college tutoring center. With 9 years of experience designing circuit boards for cell phone base stations at Motorola, followed by homeschooling my four children for 17 years, I have honed my skills in teaching various math subjects from Algebra 2 to Geometry. My goal is to not only help students solve problems but to understand the underlying concepts. I believe in using multiple teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and always strive to see that "Ah Ha!" moment when a student grasps a concept. My ultimate goal is to see that "Ah Ha!" moment when a student fully comprehends a math concept and feels confident in their abilities.
