I first met Ben during rehearsals for a gig where I was performing backing vocals. We continued working together, rehearsing regularly and recording several performances for my social media platforms.
We also performed at an open mic together. It was a great example of his ability not only as a guitarist but as a collaborative musician — supportive, adaptable, and completely professional. Ben is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his craft. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and reliable guitarist or teacher. One of the things I appreciate most about Ben’s teaching approach is his patience and depth of knowledge. I've known Ben for close to 20 years now in a personal and professional capacity, as we both attended the same music college as guitarists. Ben is a fantastic guitar tutor. In less than a year, he’s helped me go from complete beginner to playing slide! His lessons are always super fun, and he always tries to teach genres that you are interested in. His calm approach and friendly personality make every lesson fun and relaxed. Ben is an excellent guitar teacher. He is really adaptable and tailors her lessons to mirror what she is learning at school. He makes it easy to understand while expanding her knowledge. Ben is really friendly and approachable and my daughter loves attending her weekly lesson.

I’ve been having guitar lessons (electric and acoustic) with Ben, for about a year now. Before meeting Ben, I didn’t think there was any chance I’d ever be able to become even passable at the guitar, or any instrument for that matter, but he inspired me to try anyway and I fell in love with guitar quickly. Music has always been a passion of mine, but one I’ve always kept at arms length, never daring to believe I could immerse myself in that world… thanks to Ben and his amazing teaching and guitar playing abilities, I am now playing guitar all the time, I feel and see music when I hear it, I get excited about aspects of music I didn’t even know existed a year ago.
