About Cierra
I am a university student pursuing a degree in cybersecurity with a strong background in education and a lifelong passion for art. I have over five years of experience as an educator, including working with children with special needs, and have been engaged in formal art training since the age of nine. Art has been a meaningful avenue for creative expression throughout my life, and I am committed to helping students of all ages and abilities develop their skills, explore their creativity, and gain confidence in their artistic abilities. With over five years of experience as an educator, including working with children with special needs, I employ a personalized, progress-based teaching approach. I tailor lessons to each student’s interests and skill level, providing additional support or advanced challenges as needed, to ensure a steady, engaging, and effective learning experience for all.

Lessons are personalized to help you grow your skills, understand techniques, and express your creativity.
Whether you want to improve fundamentals, explore different styles, or work on your own projects, I can guide you every step of the way.
My teaching approach is personalized and progress-based, tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of each student. I begin by identifying the student’s preferred art medium or style, then focus on building a strong, supportive relationship to foster engagement and confidence. From there, I implement a customized learning plan that adjusts to each student’s skill level—providing additional guidance where needed or advancing more quickly when appropriate. This ensures that every student experiences a steady, enjoyable, and effective learning process.
