About Iyalini
Hi! I’m Iyalini — part tutor, part learning cheerleader, and a full-time fan of curious young minds! I teach Maths, Science, and English to KS1–KS3 students, and I absolutely love helping children go from “I don’t get it” to “I’ve got this!” I believe learning should be fun, exciting, and something to look forward to — not just another thing on the to-do list. That’s why my lessons are packed with energy, encouragement, and the occasional brainy joke! Seeing a child’s confidence grow and their eyes light up when they finally crack a tricky topic? That’s what makes teaching magical for me. Whether your child needs a boost, a challenge, or just someone who believes in them, I’m here to make sure every lesson feels like a win.

As a dedicated and approachable Computer Science undergraduate, I bring both passion and patience to my tutoring sessions. I specialise in teaching Maths, Science, and English for Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 3 students. My aim is to help learners build strong subject foundations while growing their confidence and independence. My approach combines structured lesson planning with adaptability. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor lessons to suit their unique learning style. I use clear explanations, real-life examples, and interactive techniques to make lessons engaging and accessible. A typical session lasts 60 minutes, with a balance of concept review, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I regularly track progress and provide constructive feedback to students and, where appropriate, to parents. With experience tutoring in small groups and one-to-one settings, I have helped students improve academically and feel more confident in class. My background in Maths and Science, supported by my university studies, ensures I provide accurate and clear instruction, especially in analytical and logical thinking.
