I believe every student can thrive in Computer Science with the right support. My teaching style is calm, patient, and tailored to individual needs—building confidence and ensuring a deep understanding of key concepts. I offer remote lessons that are interactive and flexible, using real coding exercises and digital tools to make learning both effective and enjoyable. My goal is not only to help students achieve top grades, but also to inspire a genuine interest in computing and problem solving that will benefit them far beyond the classroom.

My approach to tutoring is student-focused and practical. I adapt each lesson to the learner’s level, goals, and preferred pace, ensuring concepts are clearly understood before progressing. I combine theory with hands-on coding exercises to help students apply their knowledge and build confidence. Lessons usually last 60 minutes and are interactive, using real examples and problem-solving activities to reinforce key ideas. I encourage independent thinking and provide structured guidance to help students tackle programming challenges effectively. I have over six years of experience as Head of IT and Computer Science, teaching GCSE and A Level students. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Information Technology (2:1) and specialise in Python for GCSE, and C#, SQL, and Software Systems Development at A Level. My lessons are ideal for students aged 14–18 studying for GCSEs or A Levels, or anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of programming and computer systems. Remote sessions make learning flexible and accessible, using screen sharing and collaborative tools to create an engaging and supportive environment.
