About Janine
My extensive experience covers 20 years of teaching learners with a variety of complex needs including emotional and behaviour issues as well as learning and disability barriers to achieving. Many of my learners have experienced a lack of motivation and disengagement in their learning particularly from Covid 19 lockdown and/or lack of individual support in class.
My track record for Teaching Observations with Ofsted has been continuously successful in achieving high standards with Grades 1 and 2.

I demonstrate an approachable manner at all times and have the necessary skills and experience to motivate and encourage a positive attitude and commitment towards learning. I show personal and professional integrity with a non-judgmental approach to all at all times.
A typical lesson will last 1 hour but this can be reduced or extended depending on the individual learner's needs. I do offer a free trial which is usually a minimum of half an hour where myself and the learner can 'meet' and I can assess exactly their specific needs.
The learners I tutor are from Year 6 to GCSE. These lessons can include preparing for SSATs and GCSE exams. My hourly rate does include receiving and marking homework.
