About Felicia
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher, trained through Teach First, with 6 years teaching experience.
I offer private tutoring during the daytime, evenings or on the weekends. This tuition can be in one subject specific area within the EYFS or Primary phase (e.g. Phonics, Maths, English, Science) or more general tuition across the curriculum to prepare children for school or to support classroom learning. I am also able to offer French and Spanish tuition up to A Level.
I offer sessions either online or in person at an agreed specified location depending on your preference.
After achieving a 2:1 in French and Spanish from the University of Manchester (with Distinction in Spoken French) in 2014, I went on to join the rigorous Teach First training programme. I successfully qualified as a Primary School teacher in 2016.. I taught for 3 years in Key Stage 2 and 3 years in the EYFS so I have broad knowledge and experience of the Early Years and Primary curricula. I went on to be Mental Health and Wellbeing Lead, English Lead and Middle Leader for the Arts. I have worked with children with a wide range of needs, abilities and learning styles and I am equipped with the tools, strategies and techniques to provide individualised support that enable all children to succeed. I have also tutored privately for 5 years. My ability to build strong relationships with my pupils ensure that lessons and sessions are fun, engaging and enable all to make excellent progress.
I am able to be flexible with what I offer in order to meet your requirements and I am willing to work around you and your needs. You can rest assured in the knowledge that I am punctual, professional and have excellent interpersonal skills that enable me to build strong relationships with my pupils. I will plan, sequence and resource all sessions to ensure that we work together on a steady path to success.

I worked with Felicia between 2015 and 2018, during her tenure as a Key Stage 2 teacher, and through her transition to Early Years teaching.
