About MacKenzie
Hi, I'm MacKenzie! I have been a registered nurse for over 5 years at the bedside. I started in adult float pool and have gained experience in med-surge, IMC, orthopedics, ED, acute rehab, transitional care, and mental health. I went on to pursue my nurse practitioner degree and currently work as an infectious disease nurse practitioner. I have extensive experience precepting nursing students and new hires in the bedside nurse role. I love teaching nursing students and helping them understand what they need to know to not only pass their NCLEX and nursing school but also how to become the best well-rounded RN.
