About Deborah
I prefer to call English the study of Effective Communication, and with me as your tutor, we will go through how to make you a better communicator; think reading and writing, but also speaking and listening. All the sad, difficult parts of English will go to the wayside so that we can focus on the practical aspects of being a good communicator, then translate those skills into a more academic, elementary and middle school approach. Everything I do is HANDS ON -- meaning you'll be doing a lot of work, both alone and with me, to build literacy and comprehension skills. Lessons will include a lot of reading and a lot of writing, but only to build your confidence in your communication skills. Catered toward elementary and middle school students of all grades.
