About Heidi
After my undergraduate degree at SOAS (University of London), I went on to complete my teaching qualification (PGCE) at King's College (University of London) a number of years ago and have been working as a teacher ever since. I specialise in Maths and have taught this in both primary and secondary schools (KS2, KS3, KS4). I am very passionate about education, thereby my students have always done really well in the subjects that I have taught them. I really enjoy one-to-one teaching as both student and teacher can narrow down and achieve their set targets quite efficiently.

I have been a fully qualified Maths teacher for the past 10 years. I work with young people from year 6 - Foundation GCSE level. I have worked in state schools, private schools and alternative provisions and so my experience is quite broad, with young people with a variety of different needs, working at different levels, who require different types of intervention to help them succeed. I am very patient and supportive with all my students.

Heidi has been working with our son Rob as an online tutor for the past academic year. At the end of year 8 Rob was in set 5 maths at school and now (end of year 9) he has moved up to set 3 and is doing well in it.
Heidi is exceptionally patient with him, takes on board his asks and works hard at addressing areas where he needs support. She ensures that she works closely on supporting him on topics currently being covered in class.
Rob leaves the sessions happy and feels that they have been instrumental in helping him achieve at school. We have noticed his confidence in his maths has grown considerably. I would recommend her to you without hesitation.Heidi has been my daughter’s maths tutor for several years. She has been calm, patient, and engaging with my daughter.
