About Lorna
I have 10 years of teaching English and Spanish GCSE in secondary schools and 14 years of teaching all subjects in primary schools in the UK and overseas. I have a degree in Spanish and English from Leeds University and PGCE primary with QTS from Cumbria university.

My teaching methodology is based on the individual needs of the pupil, recognising their strengths and weaknesses. My lessons are structured with a general starter/recap activity , followed by scaffolding the learning and supporting pupils with the required work exercise. I have a warm, enthusiastic personality and use praise to motivate and engage students.
