About Gi'onna
Hi, I’m Gi’onna Kamille—a Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles-based actress, dancer, and certified teaching artist with a deep love for storytelling that began long before I ever stepped on a stage. As a kid, I would memorize scenes from my favorite shows and movies, performing them dramatically in the living room for my family (whether they were ready or not!). That passion only grew, leading me to formal training at The Creative & Performing Arts High School (CAPA) and The Freedom Theatre, and later earning an honors degree in Film from The Los Angeles Film School. I’m proud to be a working actress with a diverse portfolio across major platforms and networks, including Orange is the New Black (Netflix), Good Girls and Blindspot (NBC), Saved by the Bell (Peacock), and Little Voice (Apple TV+), among others. Along the way, I’ve had the honor of working with some of the most respected names in the industry—Lena Waithe, Retta, Ava DuVernay, Jessie Nelson, Brittany O’Grady, Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez, and Kayla Maisonet, to name a few. I’m also a certified teaching artist through the Entertainment Community Teaching Artist Program (sponsored by SONY Pictures), and I specialize in helping actors build technique, presence, and confidence—whether you’re prepping for auditions, sharpening your comedic timing, or stepping into acting for the first time. I coach with a heart-centered approach that blends practical tools, emotional truth, and a real-world understanding of what it takes to thrive in this industry. Whether we’re working together virtually or in person, I’m here to help you unlock your potential, stay inspired, and grow as both an artist and a person. As a working actress with reputable credits across television, film, national commercials, and theater, I offer real-world training that bridges artistry and industry. My work includes appearances on Good Girls (NBC), Orange is the New Black (Netflix), Saved By the Bell (Peacock), Blindspot (NBC), and Little Voice (Apple TV+), to name a few, giving me firsthand insight into what casting directors and producers are really looking for.
I’ve trained with top coaches and bring that experience into every lesson—helping you build confidence, skill, and a strong sense of self as a performer. Whether you’re just starting out, auditioning regularly, or returning to acting after a break, I create a space where your creativity and professionalism can thrive.
I specialize in on-camera acting, self-tape technique, comedy performance, and commercial audition prep—all essential tools for today’s working actor. A typical session includes vocal and physical warm-ups, text or scene work, emotional connection exercises, and actionable, compassionate feedback tailored to your goals.
What sets me apart is my holistic coaching style—I blend professional technique with mindset support and real-industry knowledge to help you grow as both a performer and a person. My lessons are ideal for teens, college students, adult beginners, and aspiring professionals who want practical guidance and artistic growth in every session.
Sessions are available both in-person (Los Angeles area) and via Zoom for flexibility and convenience.
