About Allie-Rae
Hello! My name is Allie-Rae. I recently graduated with an MFA in Professional Acting from LAMDA, and before that I worked as an actor in LA for 8 years. Maybe you've seen me as Gretchen in Netflix's "Atypical," or more recently performing in plays and experimental theatre on stages throughout London, Romania, and Edinburgh! I also worked for a programme called Shakespeare in Schools, which aimed to cultivate passion for Shakespeare in a wide array of secondary schools throughout London.
In my lessons, I draw on my extensive academic training and professional, real-life experience to create lessons that are grounded equally in technique as well as rigorous play and discovery stemming from the actor's imagination. I have a background in movement and music, and am trained in the methodologies of Hagen, Meisner, Chekhov, Stanislavsky, Alexander, Linklater, Rodenburg, Laban/Malmgren, and more. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to the craft of acting. I'm passionate about helping my students discover what works best for them and really makes them pop off.
Looking forward to meeting you!

I offer 1:1 acting classes, coaching for drama school auditions for both UK and US schools, and coaching for professional industry auditions and self-tapes.
I am trained and deeply knowledgeable in a range of modern acting methodologies, and I pull from all of them to create an approach that is catered to the creative instincts of the individual student. Whether they are trying to find the perfect classical text monologue for their drama school audition, or have a recall for a major network show, I am passionate about helping my students thrive and find joy in the process through embracing their unique voice and perspective.
My coaching sessions range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what my student is working on. I work with ages 14 and above, and welcome all levels of experience. LGBTQIA+ friendly.

Allie-Rae is an incredibly detail oriented and focused actor. She is kind and attentive and a superb actor! Any student would be lucky to have her as a tutor!
Allie-Rae is such a brilliant, knowledgeable and detailed storyteller. I have worked with her for the past 2 years on text, movement and voice. She helped me prep for my first Shakespeare audition which I then booked! She has a keen eye for truth and listening within acting.
She works so hard on everything she puts her mind to and will always push for perfection.
She’s an incredibly soothing and gentle presence, I always feel incredibly comfortable with her.Allie Rae helped so much with my self taping skills - her experience working in Hollywood means she has such an insight into what casting wants to see in a tape and she really made me realise that. 100% worth meeting her :)
Allie-Rae is a fantastic acting teacher—honest, dedicated, and incredibly attentive to detail, while always keeping sight of the bigger picture and the story that needs to be told. She creates a supportive environment where you can explore, grow, and truly connect with your character. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to develop their acting skills!
Has made a huge difference in my work and progress. Have learned so much from Allie-Rae about how to nail auditions, find confidence and take ownership in my work. She's super experienced, kind and one of the best coaches I could ever ask for. Highly recommend.
