About Christopher
This is my beginning of teaching a subject with which I've been involved for 50 years! I've taught other subjects like martial arts and election polling procedure. One thing I stress is patience with students. I have an A.A, B.A. and Masters from accredited Universities.
I've done animated commercials which aired on local channels as well as: USA, NBC and Lifetime. Really, this is a labor of love for me so I had the natural ability prior to attending college. I've sold and held multiple exhibitions of my drawings, paintings and sculpture. I've designed web sites for multiple businesses as well. I've been employed at several printing businesses as a graphic designer.
I can teach any style of art but the style for which I'm known is photo-realistic. So if you want to develop the ability to fool people into believing something is a photo when it's really your work, I'm your man. One thing that goes hand in hand with this style is perseverance and patience. In the end it's very well worth it.

My approach is to make positively sure that students are clear as to what they're doing. All too often in today's world, experts try to teach so fast that they lose the student. I'll use demos, videos and techniques I've discovered which have worked for me.
My first questions to a student is "what would you like to accomplish out of this?" I'll use analogy from time to time because an artistic method or protocol is used in most every discipline. If I can liken something to what you're already doing in your daily routine, you're much more apt to learn it and lock it away in your mind. Put this way, when I taught martial arts, people who didn't have a clue were doing it perfectly with a little training!

Details
I request that a student emails me in the event that they won't be able to attend the class as soon as they know that. I'm willing to travel a long distance as long as whatever tolls and gas mileage I have to incur are paid in full PRIOR to my arrival. I ONLY work with students who sign and date a contract agreement which protects them as well as me. The agreement will specify what I will be showing them, estimated times of their grasp of the material and the degree of retention or level of expertise of the individual. I'm fully vaccinated and observe Covid protocols if the student requests that. Web instruction will be $12/hr.
