About Lizy
I am a dedicated and experienced Commerce educator with over 34 years of teaching Accounting and Business Studies. My career includes 24 years as a lecturer in reputed colleges, where I taught BCom, BBA, and MBA students, as well as 10 years of experience guiding IGCSE and IAL learners. I strongly believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right guidance and support. My teaching philosophy emphasizes clarity, patience, and consistent practice, especially through the use of past exam papers to build exam confidence and achieve excellent results. Students describe my classes as structured, engaging, and encouraging, and I take pride in creating a comfortable environment where questions are always welcome. With my long-standing professional background, I am committed to helping students at school, college, or advanced levels achieve both academic success and a deep understanding of their subjects.

My teaching approach combines clarity, patience, and practical application. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations in Accounting and Business before moving to problem-solving and case studies. Each lesson is structured with explanation, interactive discussion, and practice questions. I am flexible with lesson planning and can start with any chapter or topic that the student needs, while also clarifying doubts at any stage. One of the most effective ways to gain good marks is practicing and reviewing past exam papers, which I regularly incorporate into my lessons to improve exam readiness. I adapt my methods to suit the student’s level, whether school (IGCSE, IAL), college (BCom, BBA, MBA), or adults seeking commerce knowledge. My goal is to make complex topics simple, engaging, and exam-focused, while ensuring students gain both confidence and subject mastery.
