About Lucy
Hello I am a 3rd year medical student living in Jesmond, I have been tutoring for the past 2 years following completion of my biomedical sciences degree (2:1).
Having taken biology, chemistry and maths at A level (AAA), I took a year out to teach in France (8-9 years) before attending university.
Now in the middle of my second degree I have a passion for academia and enjoy tutoring.

Usually working on a one to one basis I focus the sessions based on the students preference.
This can be as the following
-individual sessions based on topics that need strengthening
-following up from school covered content
-continuous content following the syllabus throughout the year
-exam paper based
This is discussed in the first session, whilst also gaining an overview of what the student aims to gain from the sessions. Goal setting for the future I have found is incredibly important to success and works best when this goal is set as part of a shared decision making process.
