About Shaqib
Muhammad Shaqib Bin Shahrilnizam is a seasoned climate finance policy consultant, currently focusing on conservation finance. He leverages over 8 years of varied experience across intergovernmental, private, civil society, and governmental sectors.
With a foundation in economics and finance, he demonstrates proficiency in climate finance, climate fiscal policies, and flood finance. He's a part-time tutor for Sustainability For Accountants.
Currently, he is producing a climate podcast, Nak Sembang Iklim, that covers the latest in climate issues—from ecology and politics to governance, circular economy, and finance in simpler manner.
Occasionally, he tweets about climate finance updates, and writes Medium articles on climate politics, finance, loss and damage finance, and trade.
