About Manasi
Namaste. I am Manasi Prasan, a dedicated Carnatic vocalist with years of immersive training. Her musical journey began under the guidance of Smt. Haripriya and Smt. Soumya Narayani in Kalpakkam, near Chennai, and later flourished under Vidushi Shanta Narasimhan in Bengaluru. Rooted in tradition yet open to collaboration, I have had the privilege of working alongside Bharatanatyam dancer Vidushi Matangi Prasan, contributing to her dance productions and arangetrams with live vocal accompaniment. I am currently based in Birmingham and continue to share my music across borders, by teaching this wonderful art form to both kids and adults and connecting with fellow artists and rasikas.
